TDD bi-directional datalink — 1.4 GHz, 100 km directional
The FOT100 is a 1.4 GHz TDD bi-directional datalink for demanding long-range UAV missions. Transmitting at 33 dBm (≈2 W) with OFDM modulation, LDPC forward error correction, and adaptive modulation and coding, it achieves up to 100 km on a directional antenna and 50 km omni. The downlink carries 2–10 Mbps of video and telemetry; the uplink handles 600 kbps of control traffic. Adaptive frequency hopping and receive diversity with dynamic antenna switching combine to give a resilient, secure link under contested conditions. The air unit weighs 198 g and operates across −40 °C to +60 °C.
